After spending many years living in the New Forest, Jane returned to Devon in 2000 and now lives in Gidleigh (near the famous Gidleigh Park Hotel) and to Chagford on the edge of Dartmoor, the area where she grew up.
Inspired by her environment she produces works that capture the very essence of nature and the desire to portray daily life in this rural part of Devon, as well as the West Country coast.
Her paintings are in collections throughout the UK, Europe, The United States, Australia and The Far East.
She exhibits in the annual Delamore Arts exhibition near Ivybridge in Devon, The South West Academy of Fine & Applied Arts, bi-annually in Devon Open Studios (DAN) and numerous nationwide exhibitions.
Jane’s works have featured in the following publications:
‘Artists & Illustrators around the New Forest and Solent’ by Robert Coles
‘The Sinews of Falconry’ by Gordon Robinson.
